Dedicated expertise in advanced laser cleaning.
Restoralux provides specialist laser cleaning using pulsed fibre laser technology. The process removes corrosion, coatings and contamination at a controlled depth, making it suitable for substrates where abrasive or chemical methods would cause damage. Few contractors in the South West offer this capability, and laser cleaning is the only method we use.
Every job begins with careful calibration. Pulse energy, frequency, spot size and traverse speed are set to suit the specific substrate and coating, verified on a test area and recorded. A 1960s pressed steel bonnet, a bronze propeller and soft handmade brick each call for different settings, and each completed project adds to our documented reference of proven specifications.
Every enquiry receives a clear, expert assessment, so you know exactly what laser cleaning will achieve before any work begins. Our service is fully mobile, as much of the work across Devon and Cornwall involves fixed structures, vessels and buildings, so we bring the equipment to you.

Laser cleaning produces no blast media, slurry or chemical waste, and every site is returned exactly as we found it.
Equipment & safety
A Class 4 laser, run to the standard it deserves.
Pulsed fibre laser with adjustable pulse energy, frequency and scan pattern, HEPA-filtered extraction at the head, and a full temporary controlled-area kit that travels with it.

On shared and public sites the controlled-area boundary is agreed with you in advance, and we are used to working out of hours where that keeps a business trading.
